Since its establishment in 2008, Aaran Gallery has held numerous distinctive exhibitions both in Iran and abroad. The gallery focuses on nurturing and showcasing some of the most pioneering emerging Iranian artists aged between 25 and 40. Its core mission is to present the true contemporary art of Iran and its messages. The gallery\u2019s main office spans two floors in its original space on Karim Khan Street. The second space, known as \u201cAaran Projects,\u201d was inaugurated in 2015. Located in the heart of downtown Tehran, in a cultural neighborhood that hosts two of the city\u2019s main theaters, this building is the third section of a series of twin houses situated in a small, unique alley and was designed by an Armenian architect in the 1930s.<\/p>\n
