The gallery is committed to amplifying underrepresented voices within contemporary art, with a particular focus on queer and female artists. Its program creates space for personal narratives that engage with wider social, cultural, and art historical contexts, while also foregrounding Scotland’s contribution to international visual culture.

Alongside its exhibition program, Kendall Koppe actively supports critical discourse by commissioning several texts each year from writers with marginalized perspectives. The gallery has introduced numerous artists through their first solo European exhibitions, including Dickon Drury, Josh Faught, Ella Kruglyanskaya, Charlotte Prodger, and Corin Sworn, and continues to support them as their careers develop internationally. Artists associated with the gallery have gone on to receive major institutional recognition and awards, including the Turner Prize, Max Mara Art Prize, and Paul Hamlyn Award, and have represented their countries at the Venice Biennale.

Kendall Koppe is a contemporary art gallery based in Glasgow, founded in 2011 and recently reinstated under its original name.
