Albarrán Bourdais is a contemporary art gallery founded in Madrid in 2018 by Eva Albarrán and Christian Bourdais. The gallery emerged from more than twenty years of collaboration with artists and architects through the Paris based agency Eva Albarrán & Co and the architectural initiative Solo Houses. Building on this background, Albarrán Bourdais developed a program that brings together contemporary art, architecture, and landscape, with an emphasis on site sensitive and conceptually driven projects.
The gallery represents a group of over twenty internationally active artists and produces exhibitions across its restored spaces in Madrid and Menorca, as well as through the open air Solo Sculpture Trail. Its program includes both established and emerging artists from the French, Spanish, and Latin American art scenes, fostering cross regional exchange and experimentation beyond the traditional white cube model. Through its diverse exhibition formats, Albarrán Bourdais reflects its founders’ sustained engagement with public art, architecture, and cultural production.
