ChertLüdde is a contemporary art gallery in Berlin that was founded in 2008 by Jennifer Chert and has since developed into a multi layered project devoted to Berlin based and international artists whose work is often conceptually rigorous, research driven, and materially experimental. After more than a decade in the Kreuzberg district the gallery relocated to Schöneberg, occupying the former premises of a costume and party decoration store, where it now unfolds a dynamic program of exhibitions alongside a parallel project space and long term initiatives that include archival and publishing oriented activities. In 2016 Florian Lüdde joined as a partner and the gallery adopted its current name, marking a new phase of collaborative leadership that continues to emphasize sustained relationships with artists, carefully curated presentations, and an engagement with contemporary cultural and political questions that situates the gallery as an important node in Berlin’s international art scene.
