Daniel Faria Gallery is a contemporary art gallery founded in 2011 by Daniel Faria in Toronto’s West End. Emerging alongside a growing local arts community, the gallery developed a program known for its material sensitivity and conceptual rigor, initially working with a core group of six artists who remain central to its identity. Over time, the program has expanded to represent a roster of contemporary artists whose practices span a wide range of media and approaches.
The gallery’s artists have been presented in major international exhibitions and biennials, including the Venice Biennale and the Sharjah Biennial, as well as in leading institutions such as the Museum of Modern Art, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the National Gallery of Canada. In 2021, Daniel Faria Gallery marked its tenth anniversary with the publication of a comprehensive volume featuring its artists and newly commissioned critical texts. The gallery continues to engage actively with the international art community and is a member of the International Galleries Alliance.
