Exo Exo is a contemporary art gallery and artist community based in Paris, founded in 2013 by Antoine Donzeaud and Elisa Rigoulet. Originating in Donzeaud’s studio in Belleville, the project developed through ongoing collaboration, dialogue, and experimentation around the emerging art scene. From its early stages, Exo Exo positioned itself as both a space and a programme dedicated to the production and exhibition of new artistic practices, gradually gaining visibility in France and internationally.
The gallery places strong emphasis on the organic nature of artistic work, valuing encounters, spontaneity, and collective reflection as central to its approach. Working across installation, sculpture, painting, performance, and other contemporary media, Exo Exo supports emerging artists through long term engagement and production focused exhibitions. In 2021, the project formally adopted the gallery model, and in 2023 it opened a new exhibition space in Paris’s 10th arrondissement, near Place de la République, reinforcing its commitment to fostering a dynamic and community driven platform for contemporary art.
