First Floor Gallery Harare is a contemporary art space founded in 2009 as an experimental artist run initiative in Zimbabwe. Over time, it has developed into a leading platform that combines exhibition making with artist development, education, and socially engaged cultural programs. The gallery has been instrumental in supporting emerging local practitioners while also contributing to the international visibility of artists from Zimbabwe and the wider region.

In December 2020, First Floor Gallery expanded its activities with the opening of a second space in Victoria Falls. This expansion reflects the gallery’s commitment to reaching broader audiences, strengthening its curatorial program, and fostering sustainable growth within the local artistic community through continued engagement, mentorship, and collaborative initiatives.
