Galerie Eigen + Art is a contemporary art gallery with locations in Berlin and Leipzig, founded in Leipzig in 1983 by Gerd Harry Lybke. Emerging from the former East Germany, the gallery played a pivotal role in supporting artists working outside official state structures during the late socialist period and has remained closely connected to the development of contemporary art in Germany since reunification.
