Galerie Judin is a Berlin based gallery founded in 2003 by Juerg Judin in Zurich before relocating to Berlin in 2008. A defining moment came in 2011 when the gallery moved into the former Tagesspiegel printing facility on Potsdamer Straße, placing it at the heart of the city’s cultural district near major institutions such as the Neue Nationalgalerie and the future Berlin Modern. The expansive halls, known for their exceptional scale and natural light, have since become a benchmark for exhibition spaces in Berlin and support ambitious presentations of modern and contemporary art.

Alongside its main venue, the gallery has developed a distinctive cultural site through the restoration of a 1950s gas station, which has functioned as both a social gathering place and an experimental exhibition platform. Between 2022 and 2024, this space hosted a temporary museum dedicated to George Grosz, earning wide critical recognition. Since 2015, the gallery has been jointly led by Juerg Judin and art historian Pay Matthis Karstens, who became co owner in 2024. Their shared focus on art history and publishing is reflected in the stewardship of multiple catalogues raisonnés and artist estates. In 2025, Galerie Judin expanded its international presence through a collaborative exhibition space with Pace Gallery, further reinforcing its role as an influential platform within the global art landscape.
