Galerie Karsten Greve is an international art gallery with locations in Cologne, Paris, and St. Moritz, founded by Karsten Greve, who began his career as an art dealer and publisher in 1969. The gallery opened its first space in Cologne in 1973 with a landmark exhibition of works by Yves Klein and has since developed into a leading platform for post 1945 avant garde art. Over the past five decades, Galerie Karsten Greve has played a significant role in the international recognition of artists such as Cy Twombly, Louise Bourgeois, Lucio Fontana, Jannis Kounellis, John Chamberlain, and Piero Manzoni, while also working with earlier modern masters including Jean Dubuffet, Willem de Kooning, and Wols.
