Galerie Laurent Godin is a contemporary art gallery founded in Paris in 2005 by Laurent Godin. Originally located in Le Marais near the Centre Pompidou, the gallery relocated in September 2017 to a larger 500 square meter space in eastern Paris, conceived as a flexible tool for rethinking how exhibitions can be experienced beyond the conventions of the traditional gallery circuit.
Over more than a decade, the gallery has developed a balanced program of emerging and established artists working across a wide range of media, currently representing twenty three artists. Its exhibitions engage critically with contemporary political and socio cultural debates and have included significant solo presentations by artists such as Peter Buggenhout, Gonzalo Lebrija, Haim Steinbach, and Mika Rottenberg, as well as group exhibitions that place gallery artists in dialogue with major international figures including Eugène Leroy, Hans Josephson, John Armleder, and Francis Picabia. Galerie Laurent Godin maintains an active international presence through participation in major art fairs in Paris, Cologne, Miami, New York, and Brussels.
