GAVLAK is a contemporary art gallery founded in 2005 by Sarah Gavlak, with locations in Palm Beach, Florida, and Los Angeles, California. The gallery represents more than twenty artists and is internationally recognized for its commitment to highly conceptual and forward looking practices, with a strong emphasis on women, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ voices. The gallery expanded to Los Angeles in 2014, broadening its program to include artists such as Karen Carson, Judith Eisler, and Viola Frey. Artists represented by GAVLAK regularly participate in major museum exhibitions, international biennials, and solo institutional presentations, and their works are held in the collections of leading institutions including the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Guggenheim Museum, Tate Modern, and SFMOMA. Alongside its exhibition program, the gallery maintains an active presence at prominent art fairs such as Art Basel Miami, The Armory Show, EXPO Chicago, Independent in New York and Brussels, and the Dallas Art Fair.
