Vienna, 1040 Austria Get Directions
Georg Kargl Fine Arts is a contemporary art gallery based in Vienna, founded in 1998. Since 2018, under the direction of Inés Lombardi, the gallery has expanded its mission to encompass ambitious exhibition making alongside artists’ projects, performances, talks, public initiatives, and collaborations with institutions. Its program extends beyond the gallery space through participation in art fairs and biennials, positioning the gallery within an active international network.
The gallery represents innovative emerging and established artists from Austria and abroad who work across a wide range of media. With a main exhibition space of over 350 square meters, Georg Kargl Fine Arts is able to realize projects aligned with artists’ conceptual and spatial intentions. In addition to its primary venue, the gallery operates two further locations in Vienna: BOX, featuring a storefront designed by Richard Artschwager, and PERMANENT, which is dedicated to experimental formats and long term presentations.
