Grotto Fine Art is a contemporary art gallery based in Hong Kong, founded in 2001 with a mission to support and advance the careers of emerging local artists. While maintaining this original focus, the gallery has developed a program that balances early career positions with artists who have gained international recognition, many of whom have participated in major museum exhibitions and entered significant public collections.
The gallery presents four to six exhibitions annually and regularly participates in local and international art fairs. In addition to its exhibition program, Grotto Fine Art works as a consultant with corporate and private collectors and has placed works in institutions worldwide, including the Hong Kong Museum of Art, the Hong Kong Heritage Museum, and museums in Europe, Australia, and the United States. The gallery is led by director and chief curator Henry Au yeung, a specialist in twentieth century Chinese art who is active as a writer, curator, and lecturer in the field.
