hunt kastner is a contemporary art gallery based in Prague, founded in 2006 to provide professional representation for Czech artists at a time when the country had limited infrastructure for promoting contemporary art nationally and abroad. The gallery was conceived to strengthen the visibility of Czech artists within global contexts while building a respected platform for innovative local production. Its program emphasizes emerging and mid career practices, particularly those defining a new generation of Czech contemporary art.

Each year, hunt kastner organizes six to eight exhibitions, ranging from solo shows to curated group presentations that engage with both regional and international perspectives. In 2017, the gallery expanded with the addition of an on site project space that hosts two to three exhibitions annually, offering artists opportunities for experimentation and research. Active on the international stage, hunt kastner has participated regularly in art fairs since 2007, playing an essential role in connecting Czech art to the broader global art conversation.
