Ingleby Gallery is a contemporary art gallery based in Edinburgh, founded in 1998. It is known for an innovative and intellectually rigorous exhibition programme that presents museum quality projects within a private gallery setting. The gallery works with a wide range of artists, sustaining long term relationships while balancing exhibitions by internationally established figures with the active support of early career artists, notably through its parallel project series Instalments.
Since May 2018, Ingleby Gallery has operated from a historic building in central Edinburgh that has been widely recognized by publications such as Frieze, the Financial Times, and The Independent as one of the most accomplished commercial gallery spaces in Britain. Through close collaboration with museums in Scotland, across the UK, and internationally, the gallery has placed works by its artists in major public collections worldwide, including Tate, the British Museum, the V and A, the Guggenheim Museum, and leading institutions throughout Europe, North America, and Australia.
