Jean Kenta Gauthier is a contemporary art gallery based in Paris, founded in 2014. The gallery represents international artists whose practices move between the poetic and the political, working primarily through conceptual approaches and photography while also encompassing installation and artists’ books. Conceived as a laboratory for research and experimentation, the gallery places strong emphasis on the production of new projects and on creating meaningful encounters between artworks and audiences.
Its program is presented across two locations in Paris as well as through projects developed with public and private institutions. In 2024, the gallery expanded its editorial activity with the launch of the artist book collection JBE & JKG Books, created in partnership with JBE Books. Jean Kenta Gauthier maintains an active presence at major international fairs such as Paris Photo and Art Basel, is a member of Paris Gallery Map, and is further engaged in the professional field through Jean Kenta Gauthier’s role on the Paris Photo galleries selection committee.
