Karma International is a contemporary art gallery based in Zurich, founded in 2009 by Marina Olsen and Karolina Dankow. The gallery’s early program focused on artists of its own generation, including Pamela Rosenkranz, Ida Ekblad, and David Hominal, whose practices played a key role in shaping its identity. Over time, the program has expanded to encompass multiple generations, creating connections between historically significant figures and contemporary voices.
Between 2015 and 2020, Karma International operated a second space in Los Angeles, establishing an active dialogue between Europe and the United States and enabling a parallel and experimental exhibition program. In 2020, the gallery further expanded its presence in Zurich with the opening of an additional space opposite the main location, providing an extended platform for artists from its roster. Through this multi generational and transatlantic approach, Karma International has developed a program grounded in continuity, experimentation, and sustained artistic relationships.
