Kavi Gupta is a contemporary art gallery founded in 2000 by Kavi Gupta and based in Chicago, with additional spaces in New Buffalo, Michigan. Established in the city’s West Loop, the gallery is dedicated to supporting diverse and historically underrepresented artists, with the aim of expanding dominant art historical narratives and encouraging more inclusive cultural dialogue. Its program is shaped by the belief that artistic production is rooted in community and that representation plays a central role in equity and cultural understanding.

The gallery presents ambitious exhibitions, multimedia programming, and research driven projects across multiple museum quality spaces, as well as a large scale warehouse, conservation center, and research and archives facility. Alongside its exhibition activities, Kavi Gupta operates a publishing imprint, Kavi Gupta Editions, which produces monographs, exhibition catalogues, artist editions, and scholarly publications in collaboration with artists, writers, and institutions. Through this combined focus on exhibition making, publishing, and research, the gallery maintains an active role in both local and international contemporary art discourse.
