KAYOKOYUKI is a Tokyo based contemporary art gallery founded in 2013 by Kayoko Yuki. In its early years, the gallery operated without a permanent exhibition space, developing a flexible program of site specific projects in collaboration with institutions, other galleries, alternative venues, commercial spaces, and artists’ studios. In 2015, it established a permanent location in a restored wooden warehouse in the Komagome area of Tokyo, before relocating in 2026 to a gallery complex near the Mori Art Museum in Roppongi, reinforcing its position within the city’s international art landscape.
The gallery represents artists from Japan and abroad whose practices closely examine personal experience and the ambiguities that emerge from everyday life. Often working with transient images and materials drawn from daily objects, these artists create works that reflect on coexistence, shifting values, and social fragmentation in contemporary society. KAYOKOYUKI maintains a strong international presence through regular participation in major art fairs, including Art Basel in Basel and Paris, Frieze London and Seoul, Paris Internationale, NADA Miami, Post Fair, and Art Collaboration Kyoto, supporting its artists’ global visibility and dialogue.
