Tina Kim Gallery, New York

Tina Kim Gallery is a contemporary art gallery founded in 2001, with locations in New York and Seoul. Since opening its ground floor exhibition space in Chelsea in 2014, the gallery has developed a distinctive program that combines contemporary artistic practices, historical perspectives, and independently curated projects. Working closely with more than twenty artists and estates, including Pacita Abad, Ghada Amer, Tania Pérez Córdova, and Mire Lee, the gallery supports both emerging and established voices through sustained collaboration and scholarship.

The gallery is particularly recognized for its commitment to Asian American and Asian diasporic artists, such as Maia Ruth Lee, Minoru Niizuma, and Wook Kyung Choi, positioning their work within broader international conversations rather than national frameworks. Tina Kim Gallery has also been instrumental in introducing Korean Dansaekhwa artists, including Park Seo Bo, Ha Chong Hyun, and Kim Tschang Yeul, to global audiences, contributing to the institutional recognition of this influential postwar movement through partnerships with curators, scholars, and writers and the production of critically informed exhibitions and publications.
