David Kordansky Gallery is a leading contemporary art gallery with locations in Los Angeles and New York. Founded in 2003 within the emerging artistic community of Los Angeles’s Chinatown, the gallery began as an experimental platform for new and emerging artists before quickly establishing itself as an influential voice in the international discourse around contemporary art. In 2008, it relocated to Culver City, marking a significant stage in its growth and expanding curatorial ambition.
Today, David Kordansky Gallery operates a 20,000 square foot campus in Mid City Los Angeles, comprising three exhibition spaces across two buildings connected by a landscaped courtyard, allowing for a diverse and simultaneous exhibition program that includes performance, film, and outdoor sculpture. The gallery also maintains a 5,000 square foot space in New York’s Chelsea neighborhood, extending its program to the East Coast while maintaining a focus on rigorous, forward looking contemporary practices.
